Brommapojkarna 1-3 Helsingborg

Babis Stefandis gave BP an early lead.

What is the sign of a truly great side? Often one of the traits associated with great teams such as Manchester United is the ability to come from behind in the game. For a further example just see the 2005 Champions League Final. To do so shows a certain esprit de corps that is rarely matched by other sides.

This is what was on display this evening from a fantastic Helsingborg side who are now five points clear at the top of the Swedish Allsvenskan. As you will have guessed, the match did not start well for HIF who went a goal down after only two minutes. BP may not have thought they had much hope of extending that lead but did keep the score at 1-0 by half-time.

The second half though saw Helsingborg continue to push and three goals in only five minutes saw the side turn the game around and take control. A mixture of young and old, mifield and attack ensured that an excellent performance by Helsingborg did not go unrewarded.

Conny Karlsson has built a team to be proud of and the side look odds on to go on and win the Allsvenskan.
