Goalkeeper Review: Wojciech Skaba

Poland has in recent years produced fine goalkeepers who have not failed to impress right across Europe. Jerzy Dudek and Artur Boruc are the names that spring to mind and Poland has a proud history in the position as seen by the likes of Jan Tomaszewski in the 1970s.

The next keeper in a long and proud tradition for the Central European country is, for me, Wojciech Skaba. Not only a great youth goalkeeper but also a former champion gymnast, the man from Rybnik has impressed when out on loan to Polonia Bytom last season in the Ekstraklasa and is now back with Legia Warsaw.

Still only 26 years old he is well worth checking out next season as you can tell from this video below...
